Email Change - "Path does not exist" when saving or opening files

Following the email change, some office apps (Word/Excel) might present with an error when attempting to open or save files.


To fix, please see below


  • When saving or opening files, you may get the error below.
    This is due to your old "@kscs.org.uk" email address being cached within the software

    If you look under the "Onedrive - Ken Stimpson" you will see that it is still picking up your old email address (In this case, "m.smith@kscs.org.uk"


  • Click on OK & then click on your user profile in the top right hand corner and select "Sign Out"


  • You'll get the below warning, click on "Yes"


  • Click on "Sign in" in the top right hand corner


  • You will be prompted to enter your email, use your full school email - In this case "m.smith@kenstimpson.org.uk" & sign in



  • You may need to enter your password

  • That's it - When saving or opening now, you should see your @kenstimpson.org.uk email under Onedrive & Sharepoint
