Email Change - Onenote sync error after email change

Following the email change, Onenote may present an error when first opening
This is due to your old "@kscs.org.uk" email address being cached within the software


To fix, please see below


  • When opening Onenote, you may get the error below



  • When clicking on "File" you will see it showing your old email address as a save location - In this case "m.smith_kscs_org_uk: - Which is incorrect

  • Click on "Settings" & then "Close"

  • Once signed out, click on "Open" & then sign in - You may be asked to sign in with your full email address "@Kenstimpson.org.uk"

  • You can then find your onenote file under Onedrive >  "Username @ Ken Stimpson Academy"


  • Thats it, you're done
